Apple Pie Crescent Bites

These sweet and simple bites appeal to both kids and adults as a post dinner treat! The delightfully bright and sweet taste of the Sunrise Magic® apple shines as the filling’s star ingredient. While optional, the powdered sugar frosting adds a magical touch.

Ingredients

1 can crescent rolls – we love Annie’s
4 tbsp softened butter, softened
¼ cup coconut sugar
1 ½ tsp apple pie spice
1 Sunrise Magic® Apple, cut into slices (will only need 8 slices)
Simple powdered sugar frosting – optional for topping

Directions

Preheat the oven according to package directions.
In a small bowl, combine the butter, coconut sugar, and apple pie spice until a smooth paste is formed.
Unpackage each crescent and unroll them. Spread about 1-2 tsp of the butter/sugar mixture over the crescent.
Add an apple slice to the wider side of the crescent roll, and carefully roll towards the smaller side. Place on the lined baking sheet and continue with the remaining crescents.
Bake according to the package directions.
Let cool and drizzle with frosting if desired!
